With a background in photojournalism and her editorial wedding experience, you can be sure your photo collection will have a flawless mix of candid moments and formal portraits to treasure for years to come.

Engagement sessions are offered as a complementary service for our brides and grooms, but may be purchased a la carte as well. During wedding season, these are held Monday to Thursdays, as we reserve weekends for weddings.

We understand that your photography collection is an investment. If all you're looking for is an image with everyone looking at the camera, we might not be for you. However, if you are looking for an artist who can capture this specific moment in your love story and turn even the most ordinary moments into photograph heirlooms you'll treasure for decades to come, you've come to the right place.

Sessions with Rachael leave time to capture a mix of posed, formal portraits as well as get candid, documentary-style imagery through both digital and medium format film. Our hybrid approach offers the best of both artistic mediums, leaving you with timeless images that feel like they belong in the pages of a magazine.

what about wedding photography?

You loved your engagement session images and can't imagine anyone else documenting your special day? No problem.

If you opt to book your wedding with us within 12 months of your engagement session date, we will apply 100 percent of the session fee toward the wedding collection of your choice, regardless of the location of your wedding day (be in Florida, Chicago, the beaches of Mexico, mountains of Colorado, or even Paris - count us in!)

Travel fees are added to collections that fall outside of our home markets are dependent on the scope of travel. We try to limit travel fees to the cost of our flight or fuel, and hotel if necessary.

Drone photography | when available, subject to locations, weather, and local / FAA rules, drone photography can be added to your collection. Please let us know if you're interested so we can explore adding it to your collection!

Heirloom keepsakes, albums, and print collections are available a la carte | a 35% off VIP discount is added to the gallery upon completion

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE should we BOOK?

We recommend reaching out at least 6-8 weeks in advance, but we are occasionally able to accommodate last-minute bookings.

how long have you been in business?

I officially launched my brand in 2012 in N. Illinois, just outside of the city of Chicago. We moved south in 2020 to be closer to family, and are now dual-based out of Orlando + Chicago.

how do we lock you in as our photographer?

A signed contract and a 50% retainer officially secure your date.

do you offer mini sessions?

Occasionally we will offer mini session events. These are incredibly limited and book fast, so we recommend following on instagram and signing up for the email list so you don't miss out.

how can we pay + sign?

Everything is online to keep it super simple!
You can electronically sign your contract and I accept all major credit or debit cards, which are processed securely through the Square platform, or we can set up a secure ACH transfer with Zelle.

do you offer any discounts?

In order to provide the highest level of service and be fair to all our clients, we are not able to offer any discounts.

do you carry insurance + liability?

Absolutely, as should any professional you work with.

can i include my pet in photos?

Absolutely, so long as the location we are shooting in allows them as well. We love including your furry friends and think of pets as family, too!

Can we have the raw files?

No, but you can have each and every one of your beautifully and carefully edited high-res files, including a print release - and trust us, that's WAY better.
